Funko Pops/Collectibles
There are so many great exclusives at Emerald City Comic Con 2018, but they don’t stop at comic books! There are such a wide range of exclusives that will be available at the convention as well as through certain retailers that some of these pieces are shared with. Here are our top picks here at My Comic Universe for Funko and other non-comic book exclusives!
From Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2 we’ve got Yondu! Chances are that if you’ve seen the film, you too love the “I’m Mary Poppins y’all!” scene as much as we do. Here’s our chance to have a Pop-ified version! This piece will be shared with Target stores, so be on the lookout!
Just coming through the portal, and shared with Hot Topic stores nationwide, we’ve got both the Alien Rick and Alien Morty Pops from Rick and Morty! These are must have’s for any fan of the show!
From HBO’s Game of Thrones and a shared exclusive with FYE stores across the US, we have a 6” Giant Wight Pop! This is such a cool piece and a necessity for anybody anxiously waiting the return of Game of Thrones in 2019!

Fresh from the upside-down, Stranger Things’ Barb gets the 8-bit Pop-treatment! Outside of the convention, she’ll be available as a GameStop shared exclusive. #JusticeForBarb
A convention-only exclusive (though it has been said that a small handful will be available on the Funko-Shop website), and single-handedly the Pop I’m most excited for at this year’s Emerald City Comic Con, we have an Emerald Chrome variant of Batman! This piece is a limited edition of only 1500 pieces, and is going to be extremely difficult to acquire. We wish the best of luck to any fellow collectors who are after this amazing exclusive!
Shared with Barnes & Noble stores, we’ve got the “Mourning” variant of Prince Robot IV from Image Comic’s epic Saga! If you haven’t read Saga, we highly recommend that you change that!
Another convention-only exclusive (with a small quantity going up on the Funko-Shop website), and a limited edition of only 3000 pieces is a Flocked Bigfoot Pop! I can’t quite explain why this Pop is calling so strongly for me to add it to my collection, but I’m not fighting it! This is a must-have for anybody interested in the oddities and mysteries of this world we live in.
Say what you will, but this Flocked Good Luck Bear from The Care Bears is too cool to not add to your collection! This fuzzy little guy with his four-leafed clover on his tummy is another Barnes & Noble shared exclusive, and I’ve got a feeling he’ll be more in demand and harder to track down than most of us might think! Good luck! See what I did there?
The piece I picked to close out our top picks of this year’s ECCC 2018 exclusives is not a Funko product at all! Though it is very closely tied to the company. From Bimtoy, we have the ECCC exclusive glow-in-the-dark Toxic version of Tiny Ghost by Reis O’brien! These are limited to only 200 pieces, and look so amazing both in light and while glowing! Quantities each day will be limited, but you can find Reis, this amazing figure and the pin to match at Fugutive Toys, booth number 1432!
If you don’t know anything about Bimtoy, Tiny Ghost or Reis O’brien, here’s a quick rundown!
Reis O’brien is a designer at Funko! First I’d like to mention that he was the founder of the Funko Fiends Pin and Patch Crew, a group of Funatics who collect pins, patches and Funko all while doing everything they can to help the community of fellow collectors. Aside from this, he created his own toy company, Bimtoy! He also designed the main product that the company puts out, which is known as Tiny Ghost. These are vinyl ghost figures that are released in different colors and variants, and are always made in very limited runs. Bimtoy also releases very limited edition pins, and they sell out fast! That pretty much wraps up our top picks of Emerald City Comic Con 2018’s exclusives, but by no means is that all that will be available at this year’s convention!
